"Palazzo Bandino"is a family run holiday farm situated in the wonderful countryside close to Chianciano Terme. It has 9 apartments and 4 bedrooms, all with private bathroom.
Here we serve breakfast and the best traditional food. You can also join our cooking classes and wine tasting sessions and visit the cellars where you can sample our finest local produce.
We also have a swimming-pool, tennis table, a giant chess board and a state-of-the-art SPA.
From the apartment windows you can enjoy the view over 10 hectares of DOCG vineyards and a 1000 olive trees with which we produce the most genuine wine and extra virgin olive oil.
Rustic-style rooms at the Palazzo Bandino come with air conditioning and a TV. The private bathroom includes a shower and bidet.
An Italian-style breakfast of hot drinks and croissants is provided daily, while the restaurant is open for dinner on request. Guests can try the farm’s own produce, and BBQ facilities are available.
After a day exploring the Val d'Orcia landscape, guests can relax in the panoramic hot tub, sauna, and steam bath
The Valeriani family has lived in Palazzo Bandino for 6 generations now where the love of producing quality wines and olive oil has been passed on down the line
At the beginning of the century when the royals of "Casa Savoia" came to Chianciano to relax and attend the horse shows, grandpa Beppe would attach his two-wheeled carriage to his horse and deliver wine to "Villa Ramella" where the Royals of Savoia lived. Today the farm/winery is run by Gabriele, agronomist, and by Marta, his daughter, who deals with the public relations.
The main tendril is Sangiovese which is obtained through a cloning system with a production of around 40.000 bottles, most of which is Chainti Colli Senesi and recently also Rosso di Montepulciano and Nobile di Montepulciano, both produced in the family homestead of "Le Colombelline" and "Il Morone" in Montepulciano.
The Chianciano Terme baths are 3 km from the property, while Montepulciano is a 20-minute drive away. Picturesque Pienza, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is reachable by car in 30 minutes.
